Mezni: We will change the pricing of oil to balance in 2016 after discussion in Parliament

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Commission on oil and energy parliamentary member Mazen Mezni said that the Commission will change the pricing of oil that have been developed within the 2016 budget, stressing that the Commission refused to discuss the price of $ 45 per barrel of oil.

He added Mezni's (IMN) that "the assessment of the price of oil at $ 45 is not thoughtful price, and will sign the country's economic risks," calling itself "the Finance Committee to study the budget numbers and change as much as possible time, so as to avoid making the mistakes of the budget 2015."

The parliamentary Economic Committee, said earlier, it was built in 2016 on the budget price of $ 45 per barrel of oil, the price of saying he was a "good and reasonable" and there are no fears of negative effects if oil prices fell.

Mezni said that "the 2016 budget is still the study phase and will be changed in line with the economic reality of the country."

The Ministry of Finance announced last week, presented a draft 2016 budget law to the Cabinet, stressing that the drafting of the budget was based on slash public spending and combat extravagance and waste in state revenues and diversify sources of national income in the country.

The Ministry of Finance estimated the average price of oil in the 2016 budget to $ 45 and the export of 3.6 million barrels per day, as pointed out that the budget revenues will amount to more than 84 thousand trillion and 73 billion dinars.
