Obeidi confirms his presence for questioning session after the Eid directly

Alsumaria News / Baghdad - Deputy Speaker of Parliament called Hamoudi, Tuesday, Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi to address the delayed salaries of some military units on the scheduled date, while al-Obeidi confirmed his willingness to attend the questioning session after Eid al-Adha holiday directly.

The bureau added that "Hamoudi discussed with al-Obeidi conduct of military operations in the fight against the guerrilla fronts Daash and logistical support to the importance of intensifying air support to segments of security forces and the popular crowd."

For his part, confirmed al-Obeidi, according to the statement, "to attend the questioning session after Eid al-Adha holiday directly and fully ready to give the necessary information out of respect for the will of the House of Representatives and in furtherance of its oversight role over the executive institutions," and expressed "his keenness to follow up and address the issue of salaries of some military units."

The MP for the province of Nineveh, Abdul Rahman Alloizi revealed, on Tuesday, to provide a parliamentary request includes 55 signatures to the Presidency of the Council of Representatives to host Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Minister of Defense free-Obeidi on the liberalization of the province of Nineveh process, while noting that the liberalization of maintaining process is not within the priorities of the government.
