British company wins contract worth $ 187 million to provide security services for the Basra Gas
Twilight News / announced company (G4S) British risk management, on Saturday, won the contract to a new value of $ 187 million for a period of three years to provide security services for the Basra Gas Company all of its terminals and pipelines.
The company said in a statement seen by Twilight News, she "won a new contract to provide security services to the Gas Company of Basra, worth $ 187 million," indicating that "the contract runs for a period of three years starting from January 2016 with a contract extension for two years the option, bringing the total value of the contract to $ 270 million."
He said it "will provide security services to the Gas Company of Basra, which owns two gas and several compression station for shipping and a liquefied petroleum gas storage and all the tubes that collect the gas from the first West Qurna and Rumaila North and South, Zubair stations, the largest gas project in Iraq's history and the largest a global project to reduce associated gas combustion."
The Basrah Gas Company was founded in 2010 in partnership between the Iraqi government and Shell to exploit the associated gas to extract the oil.
