Iraq decides to continue tomorrow with the government or its conversion to an opposition bloc in parliament

BAGHDAD (Iba) .. Iraqi bloc decided to take action on Thursday at the invitation of the political blocs to return to the Council of Ministers and House of Representatives or the possibility of its transformation into a mass of opposition.

The deputies of the Iraqi bloc will hold a meeting Thursday evening to discuss the political developments of the situation, and discuss the issue of withdrawal from the political process and the formation of a parliamentary bloc opposition.

The head of the Iraqi bloc, Iyad Allawi, said that the return of ministers and vice-mass to the government and parliament will take place after the reform of the political process and the achievement of national partnership and to stop the operations of arbitrary arrests and the independence of the judiciary.

This came during a meeting with Allawi, the Special Representative of Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq Martin Kobler, where the two sides discussed developments in the political situation in the country.

A statement by the Iraqi Allawi stressed during the meeting on the need to renounce political sectarianism, which negatively affected the security and economic situation in Iraq and to put an end to marginalization and exclusion policy against Iraq.
