Brother - Baghdad - Oil Ministry warned Thursday, from overtaking on its oil sites, and in the time it said it centrally managed, showed that overtaking them is contrary to the law and prejudice the interests of the life of the citizen.
The ministry said in a statement received for News Agency (et) a copy of it, it is "from the central federal ministries and does not have any offices in the provinces except for its affiliated companies," indicating that they "operate according to law 22 of 1997 and the ministry is not concerned with the law of the provinces No. 21 for the year 2008 ".
The ministry said it was "committed to the Iraqi constitution, which guarantees the right to demonstrate the project on condition of overtaking on the sanctity of productive property or service, particularly oil sites," stressing that "overtaking them is a violation of the law and prejudice the interests of the life of the citizen and obstruction of financing the war effort to confront the terrorist Daash gangs."
The ministry "and called on the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of cases of overtaking on oil production sites in the province of Basra and other provinces they constitute a security threat and the disruption of extraction, transportation and distribution activities."
