House of Representatives voted unanimously on a law on political parties

The voice of the Iraqi Council of Representatives on Thursday unanimously passed a bill on political parties after 13 years on regime change in Iraq.

A parliamentary source said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The House of Representatives voted during its 16th legislative term of the first second legislative year, which was held today, on the draft political parties law."

The source, who asked not to be named, said: "vote is unanimous."

The Iraqi Council of Representatives held on Thursday, its 16th of the legislative term of the first second legislative year, headed by Salim al-Jubouri, and the presence of 220 deputies, while the agenda of the meeting included a vote on legal National Guard draft political parties and the first and second readings of the three draft laws and discuss the salaries of employees in regions controlled by the organization (Daash).

The parties law in Iraq was not working because of political differences, despite the passage of 13 years to change and the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime on the ninth of April 2003.
