Sadrists sets targets for Friday’s demonstration

Shafaq News / MP for Ahrar bloc , Abdul Aziz al-Thalmi said Wednesday that the demonstrations that were called by Moqtada al-Sadr does not target the political process,

but aim corruption , corruptors and reform the state institutions.

Thalmi said in an interview with Shafaq News, that the most important demands that the followers of the Sadrist movement will call for is accounting the failure security leaders , change the judiciary , fight corruption and refer them to the Iraqi judiciary.

Thalmi denied reports in some media about the existence of a deliberate intention of the Sadrist movement to thwart the political and parliamentary process and ride the wave of demonstrations.

He stressed that Sadr will support the Prime minister to complete the reform , eradicate corruption and stand with the Iraqi people.
