Chalabi announced his support for the reforms and calls for political blocs to recognize the new situation

Baghdad INA / Iraqi National Congress leader Ahmad Chalabi declared his support measures announced by the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi saying it was the beginning of the fight against corruption, which shed on the capabilities of Iraq through political quotas.

He said Chalabi, in a press statement on Monday, that the cancellation of the posts of Vice President and the Vice Prime Minister, which was one of the quotas landmarks are the first step in this area should be followed by other steps and steps, demanding to follow other steps include corruption in the judiciary and the Central Bank of Iraq and relatives of ministers and official positions and in the informal ministers' offices.

He continued, "The recent protests is a new phase in Iraq's political life because the Iraqi people clearly expressed his rejection to the work of previous governments built on political quota system which turned out to quotas in corruption", calling for political blocs to recognize this fact and to respond to the new situation in Iraq.
