Bahaa al investigated on corruption charges

Bayraktar said Judge Abdul Sattar, spokesman for the Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq, yesterday, that the Council will call the Deputy Prime Minister, Bahaa al-Araji, for interrogation in the charges against him in Mali corruption cases. Bayraktar said, in a press statement, that he «will be called al-Araji for interrogation on charges of financial corruption». Araji and is currently serving as the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy of the leaders of the Sadrist movement led by Muqtada al-Sadr.
