Maliki confirms the Anbar sheikhs and dignitaries of the need to maintain national unity and expand the powers of the provinces

Baghdad (news) .. Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki during a meeting, in his official office, a number of sheikhs and dignitaries of Anbar province, the need to maintain national unity among all Iraqis, and expand the powers of the provinces.

A statement by the Information Office of the Prime Minister received the Agency (news) a copy of it on Wednesday: that Maliki stressed the need to preserve the national unity among all Iraqis, and expand the powers of provinces, including position to provide services and accelerate the process of rebuilding their home provinces.

The prime minister noted the legitimacy of the demands made by the Council of Anbar province, stressing his willingness to meet them all, but the demands that are outside the circle of his constitutional powers.

And between al-Maliki: the existence of a plan to convert all the powers of the central government to local governments, except those related to sovereignty, security and foreign policy and the distribution of wealth that must be centralized so that is distributed to all citizens equally.

For their part, assured the dignitaries of the province of Anbar, their support for the Government and the Prime Minister, particularly in its efforts to maintain the country's unity, sovereignty and stability, stressing the depth of the brotherly ties between all Iraqis for being stronger than the challenges they face. / Finished / Q.
