    Parliament sets next week as deadline to vote on the general amnesty and Federal Court laws

    Shafaq News / The parliament postponed on Monday voting on the Federal Court and the legal amnesty law and selected next week as a deadline to do so.
    A parliamentary source told "Shafaq News", that "The Parliament at today's meeting failed to resolve the Federal Court and the legal amnesty laws, as the presidency of the parliament decided to set next week as a deadline to vote on it."
    The parliament was unable in its current session from voting on the law of the Federal Court because of differences among the political blocs on the some of its paragraphs.
    Specialists on the political affair say that the political blocs, with the exception of state of law coalition seeks to ratify the Federal Court law and replace its current members before voting on defining the three mandates of the three presidencies project to ensure not to accept any appeal by the opposition parties on the latter law.

    Sadr calls to resolve the president's issue to prevent dictatorship of the prime ministry

    Shafaq News / The leader of the Sadrist movement , Moqtada al-Sadr called on Monday, the political blocs to resolve the issue of the presidency to prevent what he called as "validity of the dictatorship of the prime ministry ," describing the country without the president , Jalal Talabani as "Without a loving father."
    Sadr said in a statement issued by his office in which "Shafaq News" received a copy of it that "It is imperative for politicians to seek to speed up the resolution of the President’s issue otherwise the dictatorship will be transferred from the prime ministry to the presidency, things would get complicated , will worsen and will be difficult to solve."
    Sadr added that "Iraq is without a president of the Republic now, without a loving father and without anyone hearing the demands," demanding “everyone to take responsibility and to listen to Marjiya and the people’s view."

    Parliament begins to question the Minister of Youth in absentia

    Shafaq News / The parliament started on Monday began questioning the Minister of Youth and Sports in absentia after the latter declined to attend.
    A parliamentary source said to "Shafaq News", that "the parliament speaker, Osama al-Nujaifi decided to question the Minister of Youth and Sports in absentia."
    He added that "the head of the Integrity Committee, Bahaa al-Araji began with reading the questions openly in front of the parliament."
    Nujaifi had set Monday as a final date for questioning the Minister of Youth Jassim Mohammed Jaafar, said confirmed that he will take his procedures if the Minister refused to attend. ".
