    Parliament discusses four topics demanded by the demonstrators

    Shafaq News / The leaders of the assembled blocs agreed today in the parliament to discuss four topics demanded by the protesters in demonstrations taking place in the country , while identified two days to vote on the amnesty and the Federal Court law.
    The leaders of political blocs met today at a special meeting earlier called by the parliament speaker , Osama al-Nujaifi, while State of Law coalition (SLC), Badr bloc, Fadhila and reform (Islah ) blocs boycotted the meeting.
    The decision maker of the parliament, Mohammed al-Khalidi said in a news conference attended by "Shafaq News", that “the leaders of the blocs agreed to discuss in today's special meeting, four topics presented by the demonstrators.
    He added that the files are the general amnesty law, accountability and justice, the Federal Court and balance laws in the state institutions. "
    These laws are of the most prominent outstanding issues between the head of SLC and al- Iraqiya List.

    Anbar demonstrators promise Sader to denounce Duri’s remarks

    Shafaq News / The spokesman of the Sadrist movement, Salah al-Obeidi announced that the protesters promised to denounce the statements released by former Vice President, Izzat al-Duri.
    Obeidi said at a news conference in Najaf and attended by "Shafaq News" that "al-Sadr was interested to meet directly the delegations of Ahrar bloc with influential religious and social figures in Anbar and Salahuddin provinces to consider the demands of the demonstrators."

    Izzat Ibrahim al-Duri appeared in a video yesterday as he said that he is in Babel province and accused the current Iraqi government led by Nuri al-Maliki of implementing what he described as "Persian project to divide Iraq into states since 7 years ago."
    Duri announced his support for the protests in the country, while vowed to target civilian and military supporters of what he called "as Safavid Project”.
    The leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr described the former vice president's speech, Izzat al-Duri as "play ", while offered the government to kill or arrest al-Duri if "it did not seek to kill him."
    Many cities of Anbar and Nineveh provinces are experiencing mass demonstrations and civil disobedience that started since last week to demand releasing detainees, especially women prisoners , cancelling the anti-terrorism law and "stop the marginalization" of the Sunnis , some of the protesters demanded to cancel the political process.
