A Baghdad Bureau received (News Agency news) a copy of Baghdad during his work on investment forum held in national investment Commission that Iraq today faces the task of activating and promoting investment in multiple areas and the private sector to harness all the human and natural resources in the sectors of health, education, housing, agriculture, electricity and the environment.
Baghdad radio said that the establishment of national investment Commission and important amendments by the Government on investment law reflects the desire to open the doors wide open to investors and businessmen in an effort to achieve mutual benefit and revitalize the national economy.
Legal amendments in the law of investment provided benefits to investors as tax exemptions and free movement of capital, profits and employment of foreign labour and confiscation or nationalization of the investment project, which provided additional protection for investment projects in Iraq.
