Shafaq News / Kurdistan alliance showed on Thursday, its reservation on infrastructure law before voting on it at today's meeting of the parliament.

A parliamentary source said in an interview with "Shafaq News" that “Kurdistan Alliance expressed its reservation on the Law of the infrastructure to be discussed comprehensively and take its bloc's observations on the draft law."

The parliament voted on Thursday to postpone the legislation of the general amnesty and the infrastructure law to further notice.

The amnesty law is of the most controversial laws, as State of law refuses to pass it enacted in its current formula, while al-Iraqiya list confirm speeding up voting on it and releasing the detainees.

The parliament has decided on the 16 of September to postpone the approval of the draft law of the infrastructure to further notice, at the request of the heads of the relevant committees to make a detailed study, as well as what it can achieve of an economic feasibility.

The parliament had hosted Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki on Saturday, at the request of the latter to discuss the infrastructure law, as al-Maliki has reviewed in front of the parliament what can be achieved by approving this private law, specially the paragraph of payment on credit in improving the service reality in the country.

Iraq suffers from dilapidated infrastructure in all sectors as a result of long years of siege and war during the last two decades of the last century.

Despite the passage of nine years on the overthrow of the former Iraqi regime, Iraqi governments have not been able to provide basic public services to the citizens, in which a lot of people are often protesting on its lack.
