Twilight News / announced the parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Tuesday, Iraq's readiness to host an emergency Arab summit in the event of a claim the member states, stressing that Iraq is looking forward to play a positive role towards the crises faced by the Arab.

A member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Emad Youkhana in an interview with "Twilight News" that "Iraq is willing to host an emergency Arab summit, and the time is appropriate, as well as to Iraq's return to normal on the Arab and international levels."


Iraq and declined to vote on a resolution of the Arab League, which also provides for the imposition of economic and political sanctions on the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, on the back of the violence taking place in Syria months ago.
