Talabani left Germany heading to Sulaymaniyah

Said the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Monday, that the country's president, Jalal Talabani, who is also Secretary-General of the Federation, left Germany shortly before heading to Sulaymaniyah.

Talabani had left to Germany to conduct a series of medical tests for several weeks, but said he is following the situation in Iraq from its headquarters there.

The federation said in a statement that the National Talabani left from Teck Airport in Berlin heading to Sulaimaniya by private jet.

According to the statement, the leader of the country had "a successful surgery in the city of Berlin, and stay for a period of at the stage of physical therapy and the completion of the medical monitoring phase."

Noteworthy that Talabani had criticized sentenced to death in absentia against Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, said that the latter still as his deputy.
