    08/11/2011 13:29:00 Baghdad (NINA) – Law maker from State of Law Alliance, Yasir Ghazi al-Yasiri, said that Biden’s upcoming visit to Iraq will be a turning point by moving Iraq from an occupied country to a sovereign one. In a statement to NINA on Wednesday, Nov. 9, Yasiri said, “Biden’s upcoming visit to Iraq will be a turning point for Iraq, moving it from an occupied country to a sovereign one with an independent political and economic independence. It might even become the region’s strongest country.” He added, “Biden’s upcoming visit to Iraq will open the way for strategic and economic relations, taking into consideration developing the country economically, politically and militarily.” Yasiri pointed out, “Biden will not discuss the issue on immunity for American soldiers, and rather, it will discuss drawing a frame for a new policy for the post withdrawal era toward building relations based on mutual respect and common interests.” / End.

    Karbala (NINA) – Law maker from Ahrar bloce, Jawad al-Hasnawi, said that the visit of US Vice President, Joe Biden, to Iraq is, “Unwelcomed at this critical time.”
    In a statement on Tuesday, Nov. 8, to NINA, Hasnawi said, “Biden’s visit is improper because he is the advocate of dividing Iraq into three federal states on a sectarian based.”
    He added, “This concept is unacceptable, though is being propagated in Iraq by foreign agendas.”
    Hasnawi went of saying, “I believe that the visit has been postponed for one month to affirmation this project.” / End.
