Adviser to government: the government has not yet decided to get a permanent membership of the WTO : Posted: July 30, 2012 : The Iraqi government announced that it has not yet decided formally to go to Iraq to gain permanent membership of the WTO.

The chancellor said the government’s legal Fadhil Mohammed Jawad’s (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network) that “the government has not yet decided to get a permanent membership of the WTO because it is not exporters of commodities, goods, and because the WTO accession also requires legislation that economic laws are many.”

He added that “Iraq continues to Ajraeth negotiating team and there are ongoing negotiations to regulate the role of the WTO.”
