Iraqi source: Biden's visit was postponed to next month

Baghdad, November 5 (Rn) - A source in the Iraqi government on Saturday postponed the planned visit by U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden do to Baghdad until the end of this year.
The Iraqi media leaked reports which indicated that Biden will arrive in Baghdad later in the day Saturday.
He told the source, who asked not to be named, and the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that Biden's visit to Iraq will be in the next month.
The source stated to the media describing the visit of American officials surpise, saying "there are no unannounced visits. Altatm it comes to security reasons."
In contrast, the White House announced that the Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki will visit Washington on December 12 / December next to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama days before the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.
