MP, Abdul Salam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition said that "The Political Reforms Committee specified the beginning of the current week as a date for resuming the negotiations with the other political partners," noting that "In case the reforms failed, the political blocs will resort to dissolve the parliament and conduct early elections."

Maliki pointed out that "The document of the reforms that was adopted by the Iraqi National Alliance will be the last resort to settle the political crisis," he added.

"Conducting political reforms are not the exclusive responsibility of one political bloc or party but rather all sides have to feel responsibility and participate in conducting these reforms," he concluded.
