Welcome to The Iraq Program for Peace & Stability
    www.iraqstability.org

The Iraq Program for Peace & Stability (IPPS) has been established by Iraqi partners and British executives with over 15 years experience of working in Iraq.

The purpose of the Program is to produce new and innovative ways of organising meetings-based summits, trade missions and private roundtables between industry leaders and Iraqi decision makers from government and business.

Our special events are held in exclusive retreats for senior officials and professionals to engage in serious deal-making discussions in a comfortable and secure environment.
There are too many Iraq-based conferences diluting potential and producing little output. We do not organise everyday conferences. Our events, by invitation only, are centred around match-making between industry solution providers and Iraqi partners. One of our specialities is the high-end retreat where a strictly limited number of places are set aside for two days of pre-scheduled bilateral business discussions. The Iraq Program for Peace & Stability is proud to bring you a long future of dedicated forums for partnership and we pleased to announce the Iraq Defence & Security Summit to take place at a secure location in December 2011.

Reveals the source (the news): Sadr threatens to withdraw from the coalition because of the survival of the national (3) Thousands of U.S. coach

    On: Wed, 11/02/2011 10:50
Baghdad (news) .. A source familiar with the decision-making within / National Alliance /, that the mass free of the Sadrist movement, threatened to withdraw from the coalition, if it was agreed that advertised in the national survival (3) thousands of Americans after the coach (2011).

RL: IMO Sadr is threatening to go against the coalition if in fact it was agreed upon that thousands of Americans are to remain in Iraq.

The source said in a statement (of the Agency news) on Wednesday: that the components of the National Alliance does not know about the negotiations that pulled by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who is one of the leaders of the coalition, on the survival of trained Americans, as noting: that the information leaked from the Iraqi negotiators, on the survival of (3 ) thousands of U.S. coach after a year (2011), making the mass threaten to withdraw from the Liberal National.

RL: IMO Some members of the National Alliance are not aware of any negotiations by PM Maliki in regards to allowing any US troops to remain. States there was information leaked from Iraqi negotiators of US troop trainers remaining past 2011 and Sadr is threatening to withdraw from the Liberal National.

The source added: that the components of the national not held a detailed meeting to discuss the question of the survival of U.S. trainers, noting that al-Maliki coalition can not see all the course of Negotiations with the U.S. side during the periodical meetings.

RL: Sources of the Liberal National did not hold a detailed meeting to discuss allowing US trainers to remain in Iraq. Also this seems to be stating that Maliki’s coalition can not be aware of all the negotiations with the US from these periodic meetings.

Earlier, the leader of the alliance between the center and the MP / coalition in Iraq / Mohammad Iqbal, the United States of America, will accept in the final hours, to the consensus of the political blocs, not to grant immunity to trained Americans.

RL: IMO the MP coalition in Iraq representative Mohammad Iqbal thinks the USA will accept negotiations at the last minute, due to the consensus of the political blocs, to pull the US trainers out of Iraq. (If in fact that is what this is saying my comment to that would be…. “In your dreams Iraq.”

The leaders of political blocs have agreed not to grant immunity trained Americans, emphasizing the need for Iraqi forces to foreign experts and trainers.

RL: Seems to me the political blocs want Foreign expert trainers (contractors), to come in and train the Iraqi forces. My question is, WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE? One is paid by Iraq I would imagine and the other, our Military, are considered occupiers. One is invited and the other is not. IMO.. ????

Iqbal said in a statement (for the Agency news) on Sunday: known from the Americans, they are always trying to arrange legal status of its forces anywhere you want for the survival of these forces, pointing out that the House took a position not to give immunity to trained Americans, and that belief in the desire of the citizens and the end of the the security agreement.

RL: Iqbal says, IMO, Americans are always trying to find legal ways to occupy countries. He adds the House voted to not grant an extension on trained American troops to stay in Iraq. This is the desire of their citizens… GET THE US OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!

The Iraqi MP: The United States of America, will accept in the final hours, to the consensus of the political blocs, not to grant immunity to trained Americans, in the event remained blocks grouped on what you have agreed, in spite of the pressures that will resort to the United States on the political blocs, in order to give of immunity. / End / 1.'s. meters

RL: Again, the MP thinks the US will accept this agreement at the last minute and pull the trainers out of Iraq.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? DOES THIS HAVE ANY INFLUENCE ON THE RV OF THE CURRENCY? IS THIS PART OF THE FUTURE PLAN OF IRAQ? IS THIS PART OF EXITING CHAPTER 7?

Alwani: There are no disputed areas and this creature of the Bremer

    Baghdad - and babysit -
MP for the Iraqi List, Ahmed al-Alwani that the timing was not right to put forward the draft amendment of the limits of the provinces covered by Article 140.

Alwani said in a statement to the news agency of public opinion (and babysit) on Wednesday, "there is no disputed areas and that this individual came by Bremer installed by U.S. occupation forces in Iraq."

He stressed that Iraq is united as one and that the administrative border of the provinces are known.

He was President Jalal Talabani had announced his intention to submit a draft to the parliament to change serving the administrative border of the provinces covered by Article 140.

RL: MYO of what is being said here is: Alwani stated on Wednesday, “There are no disputed areas and this is a rumor stated by Bremer who was installed by the US occupational forces in Iraq. Alwani states Iraq is united as one and the borders are established and known. He also states that Talabani announced his intention to submit a draft to the parliament to change the administrative border of the provinces covered by Article 140. In other words, IMO.. Talabani thinks too much control over these provinces has been given to the Iraqi Government. We have heard this before. This is nothing new. The Kurds want to make sure they will not be…. Well…. Screwed. (sorry)

He said al-Alwani, "The Article 140 of the implementation period identified as that period is over, but there are those who try to manipulate words and vocabulary to achieve some constitutional gains."

RL: Alwani says the timeline to implement article 140 has long passed due to those who are trying to manipulate the wording and vocabulary to achieve more constitutional rights. IMO

A number of lawmakers had considered that Article 140 of the Constitution, concerning the disputed areas had ended and thus became a constitutional rule of the "dead constitution" with the exception of some Kurdish political statements of this encroachment on the Constitution.

Alwani did not hide his fears of the possibility of imposing the status quo in the disputed areas, as happened in Diyala.

Are some areas of Mosul, Diyala and Kirkuk, as well as some areas of Karbala, one of the most disputed areas and covered by Article 140 of the constitution ... p / i

RL: Bottom line, per this particular article, Article 140 is still not agreed upon by all political blocs. IMO
