ERBIL, July 7 (AKnews)- Shortly ago the leaders of three major forces which demand Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's replacement began a meeting in Erbil, capital of the Kurdistan Region.

Sadr Current, Kurdistan Blocs Coalition (KBC) and Iraqiya List MPs are now holding talks over the latest developments in the Iraqi political arena, a KBC official who demanded anonymity said.

The meeting is chaired by KBC leader Fuad Massum, the source said and refused to comment more.

Kurds, Iraqiya and Sadr Current demand PM give up ruling. Leaders of these forces held Maliki responsible for the current crisis in the country due to his "dictatorship."

MPs from the three forces failed in shoring up enough support in a signature campaign to oust Maliki. Now Kurds and Iraqiya are preparing for interrogating the PM over "constitutional violations."

The PM himself has proposed dissolving the current House of Representatives and staging early elections.

The National Alliance (NA) which reinstated Maliki is also preparing some political reform packages to end the crisis.
