Today, Wednesday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi condemned the Iranian violation of Iraqi sovereignty, while calling on the Iraqi government to take the necessary measures to preserve Iraqi sovereignty from the violations taking place, and to remove the country from the conflict circle

Al Halbousi said in a statement, "Al-Akhbariya" received a copy of it, that "while we condemn the Iranian violation of Iraqi sovereignty at dawn today, Wednesday, January 8, we confirm our categorical rejection of the conflicting parties' attempt to use the Iraqi arena to settle scores, and in this difficult circumstance we renew our call to the government Iraq to take the necessary political, legal and security measures and measures to stop such attacks, and to work to preserve Iraqi sovereignty from violations, and to remove Iraq from the ongoing conflict, and not to be an arena for liquidation and fighting, or a party to any regional or international conflict.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives called on all parties to "exercise restraint and prevail over wisdom, and stressed the importance of the unity of the national position and the solidarity of national powers and events to confront challenges and preserve the country's stability, security and interests, and spare our people the scourge of wars."
