Planning announces the adoption of IDMS system to follow up the inclusion and implementation of investment projects throughout Iraq

The Ministry of Planning announced on Monday the adoption of IDMS in the follow-up to the inclusion and implementation of investment projects throughout Iraq.

This came during a joint workshop held by the Ministry of Planning with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) on the project of improving performance and good governance (Takamul), in the presence of a number of officials in the federal government and local governments and representatives of the United Nations Mission, where the features of the IDMS system, which is The largest application of the Iraqi government on the road to e-government, which will work in three languages ​​(Arabic, Kurdish, and English).

`` IDMS will provide high transparency and better investment for government budgets and international support towards service priorities, shortening the time in following up the implementation and implementation of investment projects, and ensuring direct coordination between all parties and providing the best services to citizens, '' the statement quoted Planning Minister Nuri al-Dulaimi as saying.

Dulaimi, the ministry's intention to "hold similar workshops during the coming period with public sector institutions in the central government and local governments; to introduce the mechanism and the work of the system."
