An international oil and gas conference in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / NINA / The Eternal Fire Center for Petroleum Development has announced that its first international conference and exhibition for oil, gas and energy will be held in Kirkuk in September for the first time since 2003.

The Executive Director of the Center Alaa Al-Asadi, said the conference, which will be held for the period from 25 to 26 September, will be held in the province, which is the second largest oil city in Iraq after Basra and contains oil reserves estimated at 10 billion barrels of crude oil.

He added that the conference, which will be held in the hall of the cultural center in the province will be attended by 83 Iraqi and international companies, 3 ministers and 18 general managers, while expected to attend the guests of honor of the Jordanian Minister of Petroleum and Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries of Kuwait.

Asadi pointed out that the conference is different from the rest of the traditional conferences in terms of the presence of meetings for businessmen, and each company offers a presentation on its products, services and technologies in the conference organized by the Center in Kirkuk after the success of the plan to impose the law.
