Iraqi and Kuwaiti businessmen agree to hold trade and investment partnerships

The Iraqi and Kuwaiti businessmen agreed on Tuesday to hold trade and investment partnerships and boost trade exchange between the two countries.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait, in a statement read by Mawazin News, said that “the Kuwaiti Chamber, received on Tuesday, the President of the Federation of Iraqi businessmen in Basra, Sabih Al-Hashemi, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of members of the Board of Directors and members of Kuwaiti companies and institutions “He said.
Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Al-Ghanim said, “The Chamber is ready to provide its services to Iraqi business owners and to provide all information that will facilitate their business in Kuwait, as well as trade and investment partnerships and thus promote trade exchange between the two countries”.

Al-Ghanim stressed “the keenness of the Chamber to consolidate common economic relations,” referring to “official and commercial visits and the impact it will have on activating trade and investment cooperation.”

He pointed out that “the Chamber is fully prepared to harness all its potential to the Iraqi side in order to achieve common economic goals.”
For his part, urged the President of the Federation of Iraqi businessmen in Basra, Sabih al-Hashemi, “the Kuwaiti business sector with considerable experience in investment to take advantage of investment opportunities available in the city of Basra,” explaining that “it has multiple investment advantages due to its proximity to Kuwait, The most politically and militarily stable areas in Iraq. ”
