The completion of the government of Abdul Mahdi postponed for the spring

[Asharq Al-Awsat] It seems that the Iraqi parliament will complete the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi to the next spring after a political row, at least obstructed the passage of the Ministries of Justice and Education in relation to the biggest obstacle represented by the interior and defense?
The Presidency of the Parliament announced yesterday to postpone its meeting to another notice after the agenda included the hosting of the Prime Minister in respect of the book, which was issued on the prior approval of the visit of the deputy ministers and the completion of the cabinet.

Although the general atmosphere after the vote on the state budget for 2019, which lasted until the early hours of yesterday morning, it was pointing to the difficulty of convening the parliament again and the quorum of the existence of views intersecting the remaining ministries.

"There will be no completion of the cabinet in the House of Representatives unless there is a prime minister to present the remaining names of the ministers," a statement from the parliament's media department said.

The legislative session of the parliament ended at the end of last month, and its meetings were extended to approve the general budget in accordance with Article 22 of its rules of procedure, which stipulates that "the House of Representatives has an annual session with two legislative chapters of eight months, the first of which begins on March 1 and ends on June 30, June) of each year, the second of which begins on the first of September and ends on December 31.

And stipulated that the legislative chapter in which the general budget of the state was presented only after approval.
Deputy Parliament Speaker Khadija Ali said that the first parliamentary term of parliament is supposed to begin for more than 20 days and last for two months.
She pointed out that the presidency decided to continue the meetings until the completion of the cabinet and the adoption of the budget.
And announced the reduction of the holiday to one month and then re-meeting the Council in March next year.

And stressed that the vote on the security ministries postponed to the second legislative term until there is consensus in its affairs.
Education Minister Shaima al-Hayali submitted a request to the parliament for an exemption from her post because her brother was accused of belonging to the terrorist group "Da'ash".
Yesterday, Al-Hamdani was scheduled to be presented by Abdul-Mahdi as an alternative to Al-Hayali to vote on it.
