BAGHDAD (Iba) ... أكد رئيس الوزراء نوري المالكي أن العراق يتعرض لحملة تشويش وتشويه إعلامية، في حين اتهم بعض وسائل الإعلام بنقل الوقائع السلبية في البلاد، دعا إلى توفير الفرصة للصحافة العربية والعالمية لتنقل أوضاع البلاد كما هي ميدانيا. وشدد المالكي أنه لا احد مسموح له بان يعتقل صحفي على خلفية معينة ، لافتا إلى أن الحكومة وبموجب دستور البلد يمنح الحرية الكافية من خلال التعاون مع نقابة الصحافيين وكل نقابات المجتمع المدني التي لها الحرية الكاملة للعمل في العراق. وأشار المالكي إلى أن هذه الحرية مكفولة رغم استخدامها غير الجيد أو الإيجابي من قبل هذه المؤسسة أو تلك واليت تخرج أحيانا على ضوابط الإعلام المتزن في إطار المهنة وقد تصل أحيانا إلى الاتهامات والشتائم، داعيا إلى العمل كمواطنين ونقابات وكحكومة من اجل تطوير عمل الصحافة في العراق.
