Central sales of the currency fell 13.6 million dollars

The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)'s foreign currency sales fell Wednesday to $ 172.16 million from $ 185.8 million on Tuesday, or $ 13.64 million.

The Central Bank said in a statement that "the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 30 banks, and one financial transfer company."

The bank said the sales were the result of Thursday's auction, showing total sales totaled $ 193.52 million.

The total amount sold to boost bank balances abroad was $ 171.01 million, while total cash sold was $ 22.51 million.

The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad is at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
