Air flights between Arbil and Saudi Arabia

Shafak News / Erbil International Airport Director Talar Faiq announced on Monday the start of direct flights to and from Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia launched its first flights to Erbil airport this morning as a plane arrived from Jeddah International Airport carrying a delegation headed by Saudi Civil Aviation Director Saleh bin Nasser.

Fayek said in a press conference today that the flights between Arbil and Saudi Arabia will be at the rate of 3 flights per week, noting that the opening of this line between the two sides will contribute to the strengthening of trade relations and facilitate the movement of pilgrims and pilgrims to and from Kurdistan.

The Minister of Transport and Communications in the Kurdistan Region by the agency Norouz Mouloud said at the conference that the opening of any air line between the two countries strengthens bilateral relations between them.

And called on Saudi companies to invest in the Kurdistan Region, saying that "the people of Kurdistan are a friendly people and love its visitors."
