Iraq and UAE agree to facilitate visa granting

Iraq's civil aviation authority signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the record of air discussions to ensure all operational and technical matters related to air transport.

"We look forward to further cooperation and coordination between the two countries with regard to the air transport sector, including the increase in the number of flights to Dubai and Sharjah," said Ali Khalil Ibrahim, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority.

"During the meeting, it was agreed to facilitate the granting of entry visas to passengers from both countries through the provision of facilities, which will enhance the joint working ties between the two countries," Ibrahim said part, the UAE delegation to the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority expressed his thanks and gratitude for his efforts in signing the record of air discussions between the two sides.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Iraq is about to sign several records of air discussions with Arab and foreign countries in the framework of cooperation and strengthening working relations with those countries.
