Baghdad Council announces the release of Abbadi funds to finance the capital projects

Baghdad's provincial council announced on Thursday the release of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi money to finance some projects in the capital, pointing out that most of the demands of Baghdad and its people related to water and sewage networks and road coverings.

Saad al-Muttalibi, a member of the council, said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has paid money to the capital Baghdad in order to move the stalled projects. That "there is a response by Abadi and progress on the level of projects in Baghdad."

He added that most demands of Baghdad and its people related to water and sewage networks and road cover, as the cadres continue to work on the completion of these projects after the disbursement of some funds to be completed, and the provincial council is waiting to spend a new batch to complete these projects.
He pointed out that "the demands have not been abandoned appointments, where the grades have been launched for the educational sector and lecturers only, and is expected to send allocations and funds by the Ministry of Finance for the launch of those grades."
