Barzani US delegation to the readiness of Kurdistan to participate in the Iraqi government

The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Nezhirvan Barzani, met on Tuesday with a US delegation comprising political and military in Erbil.

The delegation included Sen. Lindsey Graham, US Ambassador to Iraq Douglas Seelman, and Ken Cross, the US Consul General in the region, accompanied by a diplomatic and military delegation.

A statement issued by the Government of the Territory that the meeting dealt with the objectives of the visit of the guest delegation to the region, and housing large numbers of refugees and displaced persons fleeing the grip of terrorism by the Kurdistan Regional Government, and the bravery and bravery of the forces of Peshmerga Kurdistan in addressing threats to all components, and US military and humanitarian aid to the province Kurdistan.

In another axis of this meeting, the rights of the various components were discussed and the appropriate atmosphere for the return of displaced persons was put in place. In this regard, Mr. Nechirvan Barzani expressed the readiness of the Kurdistan Regional Government to cooperate, coordinate and provide facilities.

Regarding the new formation of the Iraqi government, Prime Minister expressed his hope for the progress of the political process and expressed the readiness of the Kurdistan Regional Government to be part of the political process and part of the solution in Iraq in a way that guarantees the rights of the Kurdish people and all other components according to the Iraqi constitution.
