Abadi issues a number of directives to secure the Iraqi border

The Prime Minister issued a general command of the armed forces Haider Abadi a number of directives on securing the Iraqi border to prevent the infiltration of terrorists.
“During his visit, Abadi briefed the Joint Operations Command on the inspections and disinfection carried out by our heroic forces after the liberation of the entire territory from terrorist gangs and the tracking and elimination of the sleeper terrorist cells,” a statement from his office said.

“A number of directives have also been issued regarding securing the Iraqi border to prevent the infiltration of terrorists as well as strikes by terrorist gangs outside the Iraqi border,” he said.
Abbadi hailed the “great development of the capabilities of our heroic forces and the intelligence effort that came as a result of the proper planning and strategy that was developed for the development of the armed forces of all types and the importance of continuing this right approach to maintain the victory achieved and provide a safe and stable environment for the country and citizens.”
