President of the National Alliance, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, the UN representative Jan Kubic stressed the importance of supporting the international organization of the next government.
“Mr. Ammar al-Hakim receives in his office today Jan Kubic, and discussed with him the developments of the political situation locally and regionally, the results of the elections and the formation of the next government,” a statement from his office said.
“The importance of forming a national government is capable of achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people and the need to be an Iraqi decision away from regional and international disputes and the importance of investing the opportunity available after the recent democratic practice to remove Iraq from its crises and achieve what the Iraqi citizen aspires to.”
While calling on the international organization to “support the next Iraqi government in achieving its objectives of providing services and the elimination of corruption and renewal of the administrative system through the expertise and possibilities possessed by the United Nations.”
