UNHCR: Final results of the elections will be announced this evening

The Electoral Commission confirmed on Friday its intention to announce the final results of parliamentary elections this evening.

“The final results of the elections will be announced at 10 pm today,” the commission said in a brief statement on state television, followed by SNG.

The head of the electoral administration in the Electoral Commission, Riad Badran announced on Wednesday that the final results of the elections will be announced within two days, while revealing the presence of staff members of the UNHCR by virtue of the hostages in Kirkuk.

The Electoral Commission announced on Saturday (May 12, 2018) the “success” of the voting process that took place in Iraq with a participation rate of 44.52%, in the first elections in Iraq after the victory on the organization “Daash” and the fourth since the fall of the former regime.
