Kuwait: Reveal program of the conference "Reconstruction of Iraq"

The main session will be held on Wednesday, preceded by a meeting of civil society institutions, Monday, with the participation of more than 72 local, regional and international organizations.

Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Sunday unveiled the program "Iraq Reconstruction Conference" hosted by his country this week.

The Kuwaiti minister announced the convening of the main sessions of the conference next Wednesday.

He said in a speech on the sidelines of the opening of the media center for the conference in Kuwait, the capital, the meetings include a review of the support to be provided for development projects and investment in Iraq.

He pointed out that the meetings witnessed the participation of more than 74 specialized countries and financial and monetary institutions.
He said that the main session of the conference will be preceded by the holding of working meetings, starting Monday, with a meeting dedicated to civil society organizations with the participation of more than 72 local, regional and international organizations.

Sabah said that tomorrow will also see the convening of high-level experts to discuss Iraq's reconstruction plan with the participation of more than 75 countries and local, regional and international funding institutions.

He said Sheikh Sabah that will be allocated, on Tuesday, to the private sector with the participation of 1850 parties.

He pointed out that the ministerial meeting of the International Alliance against "Daash" with the participation of 75 countries and regional and international organizations, on the same day.

He stressed that his country's hosting of the conference reflects its belief in the importance of supporting Iraq.

He added that the wide participation in the events of the conference gives him great importance and is a message from the international community in its commitment to the security and stability of Iraq, and the reconstruction of liberated areas of "Dahesh."
