Iraq and Saudi Arabia discuss ways to develop economic and trade relations between the two countries

Trade Minister Salman Jumaili discussed with Saudi Deputy Finance Minister Hamad bin Sulaiman ways to boost economic and trade relations between the two countries.
In a statement, Minister of Commerce Salman Jumaili discussed with Saudi Arabia’s delegation, Deputy Finance Minister Hamad Bin Sulaiman, means of boosting economic and trade relations and increasing trade exchange between Iraq and Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the Economic and Social Council.

He added that the Deputy Minister of Finance of Saudi Arabia confirmed the desire of the Kingdom to provide Iraq with reduced tariff concessions on Saudi goods, as well as privileges that Iraq has already granted to other countries.

Bayati added that Jumaili stressed the keenness and direction of the Iraqi government to provide facilities and support to the Saudi side, promising to transfer the desire of the Saudi side to the relevant authorities in Iraq to be informed of the results soon.
