Deputies: Abadi promise Kurds to pay the salaries of employees of Kurdistan after the arrival of lists

Information / Special ...The parliamentary legal committee confirmed on Thursday that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi promised the Kurds during the meeting that he gathered today with them to pay salaries of the staff of the region after the arrival of lists by the formed committees.

He added that "Abadi listened to all the points put forward by the Kurdish parties," adding that "Abadi replied on the question of the Kurds on the reasons for reducing their percentage from 17 to 12% that it was based on population ratios."

He pointed out that "the Kurdish parties had the content of the talk that it bore the territorial government responsibility for the salary crisis," noting that "the Prime Minister promised to pay the salaries of employees of Kurdistan or spend his predecessor two months to the region after the arrival of lists of committees formed that went to Kurdistan to check lists.
