KUWAIT CITY: Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid al-Jarallah said today that Iraq has resumed paying Kuwaiti compensation

The United Nations Compensation Commission announced that “the rate of payments from the Iraqi Fund for compensation to Kuwait will increase annually until 2021.”
The Iraqi government suspended payments from the Fund in November 2014 due to security challenges and difficulties Iraq faced in its budget following the invasion of several cities.
