A government contract to connect the Baghdad institutions to the optical network

The Ministry of Communications signed a contract with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to implement the e-government project at the level of government institutions in Baghdad as a first stage.

He stressed that the state institutions will be linked to a private network connected to the optical network with the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers of Baghdad only as a first step, noting that the company is going through the implementation process, which counted the first phase of this step, confirming that it will be completed within the next two months.
Al-Bayati said that the project will be implemented in coordination with Diyala Company for Electrical Industries of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, which produces a good quality of electric cables for optical cable to provide the General Company for communications. He pointed out that the import of equipment that will complete the work of optical cables, which will be installed in the future, the field.
He added that the work will be by the technicians of the communications company by five groups of integrated work, one of communications Karkh and four of the body of optical cable, and the duration of work does not exceed 180 days, revealing the completion of linking the first track to link the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers towards the Jadiriya switch at the end of last month, While starting the second track in the coming days.
