Launch of the Basra International Fair with the participation of Arab and international companies

The oil and gas exhibition in Basrah started in Basra province on Tuesday with the participation of local, Arab and international companies, and the presence of oil ministers Jabbar al-Luaibi and Saudi energy, Khalid Abdul Aziz al-Falih, and will continue for three days.

The governor of Basra, Asaad Abdul Amir al-Aidani, his speech, followed by "Economy News", welcomed the Saudi Energy Minister and his companies, calling "Saudi companies to enter the investment sector in Basra."

Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Abdul Aziz Al-Falih praised the Iraqi government's efforts to promote the Iraqi economy and invest its resources. "Saudi Arabia looks forward to participating actively in the construction and development process in Iraq," he said.

He explained that "the Saudi pavilion at the exhibition is attended by 22 companies from the largest Saudi companies specializing in oil and gas."

For his part, Oil Minister Jabbar al-Allaibi said in a speech that "Saudi Arabia's participation in this vital economic exhibition is a historic opportunity to establish a base for cooperation and establishment of joint projects between the two countries."
