He explained that "the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry issued its annual report on the volume of imports and according to the border crossings," noting that "total non-oil commodity imports amounted to about $ 50 billion, up by (20%) from 2015, reaching that year [39] } Billion dollar".

"The total imports of oil products for the year 2016 amounted to 2 billion dollars, recording a decline of 12% from the year 2015 as the rate of compound growth by nearly (34%) for the year 2014."

He pointed out that "the volume of non-oil goods imports through sea ports amounted to about $ 43 billion, an increase of 23% in the year 2015, where that year was $ 35 billion." Imports through sea ports Is the highest value compared to the ports of land, which the volume of imports through which about four billion dollars and air, which did not record imports through only [100] billion dinars only.
