The Ministry of Planning announced on Monday that the rate of inflation for the month of October by (0.6% ).
"The rate of inflation for the month of October fell by (0.6% ) compared with the month of September," the ministry's spokesman Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi said in a statement received by the Journal News.
"The reasons for the decline were the decrease in prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages by (0.1% ) and decrease. The prices of clothing and footwear by (0.2% ) and the decrease in the prices of the housing section by (1.8% ), as well as the low prices of entertainment and culture by (1.7% ) and the restaurant section by (0.1% ) And miscellaneous goods and services by (0.5% ) ".
"The annual inflation rate during the month of October rose to (0.1% ) compared with the same month of 2016," he said, adding that "the base inflation index decreased by (0.7%) in the month of October The first compared to September. "
The spokesman pointed out, "high inflation by (1.1% ) compared with the same month of 2016."
