Alaq: The government is continuing the project to settle salaries for employees

The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alaq, the government's efforts to raise the level of financial management of employees and access to better privileges through the settlement of salaries.

"The government, through its decision to settle salaries, seeks to raise the level of financial management of employees and obtain better privileges, within the right to choose the banks that wish to settle his salary to meet his economic ambitions," the statement said. Noting that "the project of localization of salaries will increase the banking services for employees and will facilitate transactions with points of sale inside and outside the country."

For his part, said the governor of the Central Bank Ali Al-Alaq that "the project to settle salaries is one of the projects of financial inclusion, which helps to shift from a society fully cash towards electronic payment through the acquisition of systems and follow the best banking practices and away from dealing with cash," pointing out that "the Bank is circulating A new mechanism on the obligation of government agencies to deal in processing with the parties through bank accounts.

The Council of Ministers has issued its decision No. 313 of 2016 to leave dealing with cash and the shift towards electronic payment, followed by another resolution carrying the number 281 to reform the system of salaries of state employees.
