Basra allocates 200 million dinars to support health and service projects

Basra Governorate Council voted Wednesday to transfer 100 million dinars to the governorate health department and allocate 50 million dinars to spend on efforts to preserve the dusty soil between Iraq and Iran.

"The council held its regular session and voted to transfer the amount of 100 million dinars to the Department of Health in support of the Center for Cancer Oncology at Sadr Teaching Hospital, as well as vote on the amount provided by the Department of Health Basra to support the Basra Hospital for delivery And women and children of 50 million dinars. "

"The Council also voted on the amount that was provided by a number of the departments of the province of 50 million dinars for disbursement by the governor of Basra on efforts to maintain the dusty soil between Iraq and Iran and threatened to collapse."

He pointed out that "the amount allocated is small compared to the actual need for maintenance, amounting to 3 billion and 500 million dinars, where the lack of financial allocations to provide."
"The council decided Monday to set a date for Monday's regular meetings instead of Wednesday, so the council could complete the procedures for its decisions for the rest of the week," he said.
