Iraq agrees to buy five planes from Bombardier, Canada

The Ministry of transport, announced Tuesday, agreeing to buy five passenger planes from Bombardier, Canada, indicated that the new aircraft will provide 20% of fuel compared with normal aircraft.

Transport Minister Kazim Erythema, statement/balance news/copy, that the Ministry had reached an agreement with a company (Bombardier) Canadian to buy five helicopters (c-300) for passenger transport.

He added that "a formula reached an agreement with the Canadian company to activate a preliminary contract signed between the two sides in 2013, for the purchase of five aircraft, and utilized to supplement the Iraqi Airways fleet of modern aircraft."

He explained that "the new aircraft provide 20% of fuel compared with normal aircraft", adding that "very high safety factor and has to land a drone".

"The Canadian aircraft maker Bombardier, declared, in 2013, signed a letter of intent with Iraqi Airways to buy five aircraft" c-300 "with a value of about $387 million.
