The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani, on Monday, the readiness of his government to hand over the file of oil revenues to the federal government.

Barzani said in a press conference held today in the city of Arbil, "the readiness of the provincial government to hand over the file of oil revenues to the federal government provided that it paid 17% of the budget of the region."

Barzani called for "the rights of the Kurdistan region in accordance with paragraphs of the Iraqi constitution," noting that "there are" countries calling for resolving the differences between Baghdad and Erbil within the framework of that constitution, which voted by the Iraqis. "

Barzani added that "the policy of starving citizens of the Kurdistan region is not in the interest of Prime Minister, Haider Abadi," explaining that "he must deal as Prime Minister of Iraq of the federal and not as a party."

He said that "the Iraqi government ratified the draft budget law without the participation of the Kurds," noting that they "are ready to hand over oil and all revenues to Baghdad in return for payment of 17% of the federal budget to the provincial government."

He explained that "differences with Baghdad will not be resolved by force, but by the Constitution and dialogue," explaining, "At the same time blame Baghdad to deal with the Kurdistan region as provinces, and this happened during the discussion of the draft budget yesterday in the Council of Ministers."

He said the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, "We did not sign any agreement on the delivery of crossings or ports with the government," noting that "the talks were conducted in this regard was oral."
