Signing an agreement to support and develop renewable energy projects in Iraq

The Industrial R & D Authority signed an agreement with the Ministry of Electricity to support and develop renewable energy projects.



"The agreement aims to achieve cooperation in the completion and preparation of the requirements of private investment projects in the field of solar, wind and bio-energy and to benefit from the equipment and equipment available to both parties," said Director of Industrial R & D Abdul Ghani Fakhri. The field of testing renewable energy systems according to the renewable standard specifications ".



He added: It was agreed to conduct site measurements of the intensity of solar radiation in different areas, especially the areas that nominated from the most exposed areas of solar radiation for the purpose of setting up solar energy projects and the selection of suitable sites for the establishment of wind energy projects and large production capacity.



He pointed out that "all ministries will be approached to publicize the renewable energies project and work teams will be set up by the Commission to prepare a full study for the project. The study will be presented to investors inside and outside Iraq, stressing that the two sides stressed the importance of participating in field study on renewable energy projects in the world countries. To know the latest technology in this area. The two sides also stressed the reduction of the cost of the solar panel and the use of solar panels neglected and located in the streets of the capital for rehabilitation and placement in government institutions.



The Industrial Research and Development Authority is considered the advisory body of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals in the field of renewable energies. It is dealing directly with Al-Zora Company and the General Company for Electrical Industries, announcing that there is a study to introduce Al-Faris General Company.
