Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri resignation will negatively affect Iraq and Syria, Iraqi Vice President Ayad Allawi said on Sunday.

He added that Lebanon is considered a balancing force in the Middle East and it plays an important role in preserving Arab countries' stability. He noted that Hariri's resignation may lead to foreign intervention in Lebanon's internal affairs

Allawi confirmed that this resignation will also increase the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. He added that the incident may thwart efforts aiming at putting an end to such conflicts in others countries that have multi-ethnics namely Iraq and Syria
